On Monday we were honoured to have Burnley Youth Theatre in school to deliver a workshop.
The theme was Alice in Wonderland. First the children had to warm up their imagination brain, then they had a warm-up of their bodies and they had to listen carefully to the instructions, because everything is a little opposite in Alice in Wonderland, so the instructions became opposite too.
The children thoroughly enjoyed creating scenes and freeze frames for the story. We now can’t wait for our trip to watch Alice in Wonderland at Burnley Youth Theatre next week.
