This week we launched our Plastic Free July celebrations with a powerful assembly on plastic pollution and its damaging effects on our oceans. This was followed by an immersive VR headset session, where children explored the beauty of underwater life and contrasted it with the harm caused by plastic waste. It was a moving experience that really helped the children connect emotionally with the issue.

As we begin this important month, we’d love to encourage families to start making small changes at home—especially around reducing single-use plastics. Even simple swaps can make a big difference, and working on this together with your child can have a real impact.

Thank you to the PTA for providing the majority of funding for this wonderful experience for the children.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Eco – Council.
