This week we have had our annual visitor from Life Education.
Every class has had a session delivered by our lovely rep who brings alive and enhances our PSHE scheme of work from Coram. Younger children got to meet Harold the Giraffe and each class session covered an aspect of learning linked to taking care of themselves and ensuring they have healthy growing bodies and minds.
Here are some pictures of Year 1 enjoying their session learning about what was healthy to put in to our bodies and that we should eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables every day. They also learned that carbohydrates give our bodies energy and dairy foods are good for teeth and bones.
