This morning we had a special visit from Rock Steady music school. There was a whole school performance where they demonstrated each musical instrument that you’d normally hear in a band and the children very much enjoyed singing along to some famous songs. Mrs Holt, Mrs Baron and Mr Davies even created a new band and performed for everyone!

Each Key Stage then had a workshop session with Rock Steady and some children volunteered to perform.

From next week, Rocksteady Music School will be in school to deliver fun and inclusive rock and pop band lessons. These weekly music lessons take place in school on Wednesday afternoons and are led by professional musicians who make learning music fun. It’s the perfect way for children to learn new musical skills, make friends and have a great time – all at school!
